Just like a hosted environment, MeshBlox can monitor the vital signs of your DataBlox no matter where it’s located, as long as it has data connectivity. MeshBlox is able to detect environmental problems and make you aware of them a long time before it becomes an issue for your equipment, giving you valuable time to react.

Because of the redundant nature of the DataBlox, in most situations if a failure occurs, you won't even notice it, however throught the monitoring portal you can be alerted to the problem and react accordingly.

Remotely, you can make adjustments to compensate for failures.  For example, in the case of a cooling system failure you can compensate by increasing air-flow and lowering the temperature from the second cooling unit. This ensures that your DataBlox can keep operational  utill service staff can get to location with replacement parts.

MeshBlox Reporting Portal

Where connectivity to DataBlox Out-of-Band network is available, MeshBlox provides a web based reporting portal for subscribers  to view reports describing the DataBlox environmentals such as power consumption, temperature details.  Subscribers are able to access infrastructure management GUI via the reporting portal, providing them the ability to remotely power cycle or switch off nominated power outlets or run diagnosis reports on UPS’s.

Report on all the core features of the DataBlox, ensuring that you have the most up to date statistics of your environment. Alarming on high and low thresholds and potential failure conditions the Meshblox monitoring services offers peace of mind pro-active monitoring.

Alarms can be via email and or SMS. Reporting and real-time statistics are available from the MeshBlox customer portal with a simple Web interface.

• Environmental parameters – temperature & humidity
• Door access
• PDU's – power consumption, active and inactive
• Main power distribution – aggregate power usage, phase balance
• VESDA & fire alarming status
